Aging in place is another option LSS provides to older adults. Our In-Home Services - Home Health, Private Duty, Outreach Social Services, the Good Neighbor Program and Volunteer Money Management - extend the quality medical and personal care provided on our campuses into the client’s home. Our programs are available in St. Louis City and County, St. Charles and Jefferson County. LSS Home Health LSS Home Health is a Missouri state-licensed, Medicare-certified provider of skilled home care. If you become ill or are discharged from the hospital, and the doctor feels medical services are needed at home, you can request that LSS Home Health provide your care. This includes: Skilled Nursing Care Physical Therapy Occupational Therapy Speech Therapy Medical Social Services Home Health Aide care Our staff will coordinate all the services that you need. CMS-10969. LSS Private Duty Dressing. Bathing. Housework. Errands. Tasks taken for granted until they become difficult to perform. LSS Private Duty offers personal care tailored to the needs of the individual. With our services, older adults and disabled persons may remain comfortably in their own home while receiving assistance with daily activities. Activities/services can include: Companionship Couples Care Assistance for travel or to appointments Live-in Assistance 24-hour Care Medication Assistance/Set-up Meal Preparation Light Housekeeping Laundry Errands/Shopping Bathing and/or Dressing Assistance Caregiver Relief Safety Oversight Other services as requested LSS Private Duty is available three hours a day up to 24-hours a day. Daily, monthly or even occasional respite visits can be arranged. Services are also available at LSS communities. In addition, LSS Private Duty offers Registered Nurse visits for skilled services not reimbursed by Medicare such as: Injections Phlebotomy Services or Medication Management For your convenience, a licensed beautician is on staff to provide in home: Haircuts Shampoo/Style Manicures Pedicures In fact, a visit from a beautician might just be the perfect gift for an individual who has difficulty leaving the house. Payment for LSS Private Duty services may come from several sources including: Private Insurance Worker’s Compensation Private Pay Gift certificates are available.
