Volunteer Opportunities
Lutheran
Senior Services offers many opportunities for individuals
or groups to volunteer to assist residents and staff in
providing services to older adults.
Greeter - Lobby reception desk
Friendly Visitors - Start a friendship and provide
additional support to a nursing home resident
Clerical Helpers - Filing...mailing...newsletters
Transporters - Assist wheelchair residents to
and from the beauty shop, activities and chapel
Feeders - Encourage and feed residents who are
not able to feed themselves
Chapel Assistants - Ushers, communion helpers
and companions to help residents one-on-one
Volunteer Money Management Program Volunteers
- assisting older adults with balancing their checkbooks
and writing bills.
